Bloody Wednesday events revealed close coordination between NDP, Ministry of Interiors, SSI, TV and political leadership at the highest levels.
This started on Tuesday where Mubarak's recorded address was aired late as to allow pro-Mubarak rallies to assemble and be filmed.
Mubarak's speech was carefully designed as to play at Egyptians emotional side, pleading to their sense of decency as the ex-air forces chief reminded his fellow countrymen and women with his service to their homeland and his wish to be buried in its soil. He also announced that he will not run in the coming presidential elections. However he ignored to mention how he planned to rid the country from the main pillars of his oppressive regime: NDP, SSI and the propaganda machine of state-owned papers and TV stations. Even if free and fair elections were held with this power structure it will replace one dictator with another.
On Wednesday, NDP, SSI and Secret Police started mobilising thugs and criminal elements to mix with some genuine NDP supporters.
In the same time, the regime announces it will start negotiations with a group of co-opted parties which for many years had been an obedient actors of the scripted theatrical democracy run by the regime and SSI.
This proves that mass-crimes committed against anti-government protesters were sponsored by the regime at its highest levels.
