The Story is bizarre but it goes like this. On December 5th, 2012, some 170 protesters / suspects, badly beaten, were rounded up by Muslim Brothers and FJP members near the Presidential Palace and handed to the Police. The Police recorded that the "suspects" received were in terrible medical condition having been badly beaten, noted as to avoid the responsibility of police brutality, and handed them to East Cairo Prosecutor.
Today, East Cairo Prosecutor said in a written complaint that the Prosecutor General, newly appointed by none other than president Morsi 3 weeks ago, on that day and the day after, pressured him and his colleagues to jail detainees, despite lack of evidence, as not to embarrass Morsi, who had come on television, announcing before the whole nation that thugs/"terrorists" had confessed of receiving payments to start violence and disturb the peace.

The East Cairo prosecutor filed this complaint to the Supreme Judiciary Council requesting that he leaves the Prosecution assignment and goes back to the bench.
